As promised we are working on improving the tactical depth during set pieces (released at end of season). The manual draft is now available at the bottom of the manual for you to ponder on and give response to. The implementation of the draft is on the way, but we always listen to the feedback from the community and see if we can make improvements.

This is especially exciting since it’s one of the last pieces of the complex puzzle of creating the most advanced and tactically challenging match engine on the web. Besides smaller tweaks (some released at end of season and explained in the editorial below), we only have a reform for special abilities left as an important piece before being able to concentrate on community improvements and fun things, like match commentators.

Freekick is moving forward with new features and improvements of old ones. As promised before we will concentrate on adding features that will improve the enjoyment of the game, rather than improve the core. We can do this with good conscience since we feel the core to now be of such high quality.

As always, we have released several new features during the last season and now at the beginning of the new season. We will continue to improve the game during the upcoming season(s), but primarily add fun stuff and improve the enjoyment of the game.

We are very happy to release a new game news system. Previously you would only see news on the front page and most managers just logged in without seeing it. A further issue was the fact that the news items wasn't translated, and that it was hard to follow older news items. The news items was also restricted in length. Now we add an editorial section linked to news to allow for more information for those that want it.
